InnovTech Demo Area
In line with Government’s vision to move upscale to a Smart and Innovative Mauritius, an Innovation Demo Area will be set up in the Atrium of SVICC to showcase innovative products, services, apps and projects developed by Mauritians from the industry, institutions and academia.
Technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, IOT, 3D Printing, Gaming, Robotics, Smart Home, Satellite, and Innovative Apps will be demonstrated.
Some 25 participants are expected to exhibit in the InnovTech Demo Area. These participants are mainly SMEs, Universities, Colleges and Governmental Institutions. Dedicated stand for the MTCI to showcase achievement of Government for the ICT Sector such as the Info Highway. The Government Online Centre will demonstrate the new Government Web Portal as well as interactive apps and generate awareness on e-Services.
In view to give more visibility to exhibitors in the Innovtech Demo Area, it is envisaged to change the concept of the usual partitioned Demo Area. The Innovtech Demo Area will be mounted as a pavilion and be branded as “Innovation Pavilion”. In doing so, visitors will have more space to move in the Demo Area and have better interaction with participants.
